Details

We are excited to be doing a advanced skills Old Hollywood Lighting Art Nude Workshop, where we will focus on some stunning and intricate studio lighting setups to achieve a few dramatic art nude looks right out of the 1940's -50's to help you build your portfolio and confidence with these techniques.

Our instructor for this workshop is Phil Sutherland, Lighting tech will be Lisa K and the workshop will be at Revprint Studio 205 in Toronto.

The Workshop: Do you have a passion for nude art and specificall hard sharp and dramatic 1940's old Hollywood lighting? Do you want to learn beautiful and creative professional lighting secrets and some old school techniques? Join us for our intimate hands-on small workshop with our experienced instructors. We are serious about lighting and sharing photographic knowledge with you. We will discuss the specific lighting for each setup and why we are lighting the subject/accessories with that specific modifier and angle.

Our female model is Kate, a professional model from Vancouver, with excellent skills in creating unique images and stunning results.

We are limiting the workshop to a maximum of 6 participants to improve the quality of participation and instruction time per person and limit crowd size.

We are proudly an Indigenous-run not-for-profit arts group serving the artistic community and advocating for photographic arts. We exist because we believe in sharing knowledge and the joy of photography with the community. We believe art should be accessible to everyone and work hard to bring arts programming to the whole community.

Maximum participants: 6 - 3 hour workshop Workshop fee: CAD$159.00
