The West Toronto Photography Group, in collaboration with FoodShare Toronto and the Artscape Weston tenants Association, are creating a safe, open-air market-style food market for the residents in Weston, Ontario, called “The Weston Artists Good Food Market.” This market will benefit all residents of Weston by giving a breath of fresh air to the community in tough times. It will increase access to high-quality, culturally appropriate, affordable fruits and vegetables in neighbourhoods where it might not otherwise be available. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Good Food Markets have provided frontline support through neighbourhood access to high-quality foods, and pivoting to emergency food services to serve those most affected by the pandemic. 

The Weston Artists Fresh Market extends far beyond a place to access fresh produce. We are a community square looking to bring the residents of Weston together by forming a community hub with fresh seasonal, local, and imported favourites, engaging activities, active conversation, information booths, and group celebrations. 

Our market is located at Artscape Weston Common Square (34 John St, Toronto, ON M9N 0B2). Our market days for 2022 will be Wednesdays, May 25th - Sept 7th 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
