Focus On Weston
A free community event celebrating the Wonders of Weston Photography contest and ALL the amazing submissions, we will be announcing the winning images from the contest at the start of our celebration. There will be presentations/talks and photo workshops 1:30 - 8pm (lobby signs will be posted with specific start times).

We have an amazing event with talks, workshops, and presentations from some of Canada’s leading creative imaging professionals. We have designer Dianna Dinoble discussing her creations during her presentation and we will be presenting a creative shoot workshop featuring her infamous fire dress! We have presentations from professional photographers Nick Merzetti, Adam Weitner, Will Prentice, and Phil Sutherland. As well as hands-on workshops in the flex studio throughout the day with Giancarlo Pawelec and Will Prentice showing some great gear from Broncolor.

Presenters
Phil Sutherland is the founder and director of WTPG and has been organizing lighting and photography workshops in the GTA for over 15 years. He is the owner of Revprint Studio 205, and has worked as a professional commercial photographer for 25 years.
A self described lighting nut, he has produced public light Art for the Amsterdam Light Festival and teaches photography internationally.
Toronto-based corsetiere Dianna DiNoble's company Starkers Corsetry has gained a devoted following in Canada, throughout the United States, and Europe. She studied fashion design at Sheridan College, her work has since appeared in many international publications and television. It is in demand by a wide range of customers, from traditional brides and fashion trailblazers to risqué fetish lovers.
Award-winning portrait photographer Will Prentice, owns and operates Whitby based Captura Photography & Imaging. He has worked as a Creative Director in the Marketing and Communications industry and is currently Brand Manager for Lighting Products with Broncolor Canada.
Giancarlo Pawelec is a self-taught photographer with over two decades of experience. Starting his career with automotive editorials he eventually found his niche in portrait (fashion/beauty) and commercial Photography. He is also owner of Studio311 and Pro-ambassador for TetherTools Canada.
Nicholas Merzetti is an award-winning photographer specializing in Food and Fashion Photography. Nick’s work has been featured in publications such as Harpers Bazaar, Vogue China, Schön Magazine, Design Scene, Monacle, and the Guardian UK.
Adam Weitner is the founder of AstroLab Studios Inc. Toronto's first on-demand film, photo and audio production studio. He is also a Photographer and DJ.

Focus on Weston will be held at Artscape Weston Common, 34 John St, in the Weston neighbourhood of Toronto. The closest intersection is Lawrence and Weston.
